Barbara Wescott is a woman on a mission. As  Founder of  Women Wednesdays, Barbara is living the Lean In philosophy to create, and foster additional creativity, for programming and community campaigns that improve economic opportunity for women and minorities. Tamara Smith | Media Director

Tamara G. Smith  is a multimedia host, educator, non-profit professional and creator of @Lifetothe9s, a platform sharing “Everyday ways to thrive through Self-care & Style.” You’ll often find her on-camera leading conversations, as well as behind the screen consulting on brand strategy, digital content creation and events for various organizations and companies such as LOUD (loveofurbandesign.com). Even after serving as Ms. Black Florida USA 2019, her platform of “Empowering Women to Make Self-Care a Priority” continues to drive her passionate work to bring awareness to women’s reproductive health issues such as endometriosis and PCOS. Robin Yeatman | Membership Coordinator at Women Wednesdays

As the Associate Publisher at Home & Yard and Ad/Max and Membership Coordinator at Women Wednesdays, Robin’s  objective is to help others. Whether it’s internal or external customers, new or existing members, she likes to make a difference, and all with a smile. One of her greatest satisfactions is to have a customer or member feel that she’s made the process enjoyable and of benefit. Tamara Smith | Speakers Series Program Coordinator

In addition to our WW Media Director, Tamara G. Smith is our Speakers Series Program Coordinator at Women Wednesdays – both in front of and behind the camera. Tamara  curates, schedules and develops our weekly speakers for both in-person and virtual broadcast, helping women raise awareness about themselves while sharing their knowledge with otHERs.  Any Women Wednesdays’ member can request an opportunity to speak or help co-host our programming, or join our media team as a volunteer to help with the speakers series, our weekly events, or the live-stream broadcast.  Doing so can help you build powerful relationships, skills and visibility. Kristine Wrenn is a recent graduate of FSU where she earned her Bachelor’s degree in Criminal Justice. With a passion for mental health and wellness, she is currently applying to Master’s programs in Mental Health Counseling. As an Event Coordinator for WW, Kristine will ensure that our events, photos and broadcasts run smoothly and successfully. She is committed to empowering women and fostering strong connections among them, and is excited to contribute to our mission.

Jackie Brown | Education Program Coordinator

Hi. I’m Jackie Karr Brown, Founder of I.N.I.T.I.A.L. Social Media. I have always loved teaching and helping entrepreneurs and business owners retain focus on whatever they love while we spread the good word about their business and services. With Initial Social Media, I strive to provide a great source of marketing for any business. Each account is tailored to their social media needs and I wouldn’t have it any other way. Promoting comes naturally to me and I welcome taking some time to share with you how Initial Social Media can increase your online community. In leading WW Education, I work to provide a forum for women to teach and learn from each other in ensure greater success for women across Tallahassee, Leon County and the region.

Gina Hogan Edwards | Women’s Words Program Coordinator

Gina Hogan Edwards supports women in claiming the power of their voices – on the page, from a stage, in the workplace, and in their everyday lives. She provides safe spaces that empower women to share their truth and create a legacy of positive change in the world. After more than two decades as an editor, Gina founded the Facebook community Women Writing for CHANGE. She is also a Licensed WomanSpeak Circle Leader, writing retreat host, co-facilitator of the On Purpose Woman-Tallahassee Chapter, and co-host of the podcast Around the Writer’s Table. With Women’s Words, Gina seeks to highlight and expand local women’s voices in the written form. Whether you are a beginner, intermediate or experienced writer, Gina encourages you to submit your written work for approval and publication to our website blog, and the Women’s Wednesday’s community. Kerwyn Jones Wilson is the TradeswHERk Campaign Coordinator.

Kerwyn Jones Wilson is the owner and CEO of Jones Construction and Design, LLC located in Quincy, Florida. Kerwyn is passionate about the construction industry and is also an active Realtor with EXP Realty. When she isn’t on the job site, in her pink steel-toed boots, she serves as President of the National Association of Women in Construction Tallahassee Chapter, the Charter Founder of the Gadsden Chapter of the Future Builders of America, and Treasurer for the Community Economic and Development Corporation, just to list a few. In her role as Campaign Coordinator for TradeswHERk, she is excited to expand encouragement, training and job opportunities for women, minorities and youth in construction and the skilled trades.

As a woman-owned business herself, Justine worked from Railroad Square surrounded by a majority of women-owned businesses.  Justine brings her immense marketing and business experience, along with a heart for collaborative engagement, to foster greater success for area women owned businesses, and the business community as a whole.
